Andrea's Hair with Heart challenge

I'm doing the Hair with Heart challenge and I need your help!

Variety is a charity that is very close to my heart. I have been fortunate to see firsthand the incredible difference they make in the lives of children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage, or living with a disability.

At both schools where I have worked, Variety has funded playgrounds that have created inclusive spaces where children can play, connect and thrive. At my current school, Variety has also donated a bus, providing our students with greater opportunities to access the community and participate in experiences they may not otherwise be able to attend.

I have had the privilege of supporting students to attend many Variety events, including movie days, zoo visits and special parties where children are provided with food, gifts and opportunities to create wonderful memories. Seeing the excitement, inclusion and joy these experiences bring to children is truly inspiring.

Variety gives so much to children and families, creating opportunities that can have a lasting impact on their lives. Being able to give back to a charity that has given so much to the students I work with is incredibly meaningful to me. I am proud to support an organisation that helps children feel included, valued and able to experience the same moments of happiness and connection as their peers.
