I'll do the hair change, if you do the spare change!
As many, some, or none of you may know, I am a registered organ donor, regular blood donor, and on the bone marrow register. A couple of years ago I thought, 'What more can I give to help the world?', so, for the last 2+ years, I have forgone getting my hair cut so that I can donate it to charity.
After years of wrangling long hair and annoying my partner with my constant shedding, the time to go back to something akin to my normal length is nigh. I'm going to be lopping a good 14 inches off; how short it will end up, well we'll all just have to wait and see.
So, what does this have to do with you? Good question. If you would like to help me, help Variety provide a wig to a child suffering from hair loss due to medical conditions like cancer and alopecia, all you need to do is release the moths from your wallet, fumble round in there for anything you can spare, and make a donation. Five cents, five dollars, a hundred if you're feeling saucy, and even if you can't, maybe you know people who can. Your small gesture can help make the world a little bit less shit for a child, because lets be honest, they've already had to deal with the isolation of a once in a lifetime pandemic, a wig is the least we can do.
Thanks for all the support
