I'm chopping my hair and would love your support!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
I'll be chopping off about 40cm of my hair on September 5th! I'm seven years old and this will be my first real haircut. I am so excited to be donating my hair to make a wig for a child who needs it, and I hope they love my hair! As well as donating my hair, my goal is to raise $2000 ($50 for every centimetre of hair!) for Variety - the Children's Charity.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and will help me to reach my goal.
