I'm chopping my hair and need your help!
I have made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating my hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition.
This has been something on my bucket list for a while so since I haven’t been able to chop it in so long due to lockdowns - what better time to do this than now.
I'll be chopping off at least 36cm once we come out of lockdown - the longer lockdown goes, the more hair I’ll be chopping off!
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids in need.
I know these times are tough for a lot of people financially so I’m just hoping to raise a little bit of money with the help of those who have been fortunate enough to work throughout this pandemic.
