hi my name is Abigail. 2 years ago I come across I video that was a woman donating her hair to a young girl with cancer and ever since that day, I have wanted to donate my hair.
it took me 2 years because I bleached my hair for my 12th birthday (I'm 15). I made the decision when I was 13. when I told my mum we cut my hair to me shoulders. then we cut it every 4 weeks to make healthy.
there is one more reason when I was 8 my Grandma died from brain cancer and lost most of her hair. I didn't really know why but I wanted to give her my own hair so she would feel pretty.
My hair we be made into a wig for a child that has a condition that makes them lose there hair. for families to buy wigs that are good quality it usually cost around 6,000-8,000. buy donating my hair and raising money I can help out a family, and help the child look and feel a bit more normal and not be judged by their hair and they condition.
